I'm in our local grocery store the other day perusing the frozen food isle and what do I hear over the speaker system, "Jackson" performed by Johnny Cash and June Carter. Now don't get me wrong, I understand globalization and how the internet brings all kinds of crazy cultural interaction, but being in an Austrian grocery store and hearing a song about your hometown (I don't care what people say, it's Jackson, MS not Jackson, TN) which happens to be in the deep South is the definition of surreal.
