Daniel Boy

His new obsession is books. Loves to sit and read or come and plop down in your lap while handing you a book. He still can't talk much, but always tries to communicate with many different inflections in his tone. He is super sweet and cuddles all the time!

and... this is his other obsession: stealing food out of the fridge and just going for it. It really doesn't matter what it is. If it is a veggie or fruit and he can sink his teeth in, then you can bet he's eating it whole... stem too. :(

He's eaten a whole pear, a whole apple, part of an orange rind and some banana peel. Really...

I don't know if this makes me a bad mom or what. But I've got to stay on my toes with this little one!

Climbing, climbing and more climbing!

Brush teeth.... Daniel really gets into this time and will throw a fit if he isn't allowed to go in the bathroom with them.

Who's says a little guy can't have girlfriends over for lunch? Memories we will cherish forever!

New Year's

Kim and her family were able to come visit us for New Year's celebrations this year.

Daniel turned 1 year old!

Well, the little stinker turned 1 on December 17th. He was actually in Venice, Italy on his bday. What a nice present right? We celebrated after we arrived home the next day. What to put on his birthday cake, I asked? Well, if you've been in Venice for the special day why not have a boat to remember that special time.

He's a handful for sure! Always getting into the wipes and pulling them out :)

We did have a little party with friends later on. Here is his sweetie Sophie. They have a love/hate relationship :)

So, now I have a big 1 year old tromping around the house thinking he is big stuff!
